Who processes your data

What we collect
Only what you type into the form yourself:
- your name
- your email address
- brand name and website, if you give them
- the language, type of work and budget range you select
- the text of your message
Nothing else. The site does not record how you behave on it, does not track you and builds no profile of you.
Why, and on what basis
So we can reply and put together a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Notes we keep about the enquiry afterwards rest on our legitimate interest in keeping a record of business conversations (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long
Three years from our last contact, then the record is deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Who else sees it
Nobody except us and our hosting and email provider, Active24 / Websupport, whose servers are in the European Union. They store the data; they do not use it.
We use no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel and no other outside measurement tool. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server, so loading the page connects you to nobody else. No data leaves the EU.
Counting visits
On our own server we count how many people opened which page. What is stored is the date and hour, the page address, the domain you arrived from (so "instagram.com", not the particular link), the language you chose, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer.
The same way, we count how many people reached each part of the page - the work, the packages, the form - and how often the form was sent. Only the name of the step, the date and the hour are stored. None of it is joined into one person's path, because there is nothing to join it by.
No IP address, no cookie and no identifier of any kind is stored. We therefore cannot tell who you are, nor recognise you on a return visit - we count views, not people. That is exactly why no consent is needed for it. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, you are not counted at all. Records older than 400 days are deleted.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. It stores only this:

All three are necessary for the site to work, which is why the law does not require your consent for them. You can delete them in your browser; the only difference will be that the site forgets your language.
Links elsewhere
There is a link to Instagram on the site. Until you click it, nothing is sent anywhere. After you click, Instagram's policy applies rather than ours.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict how it is processed, to receive it in a portable form, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@createdbynicol.com and we will answer within one month.
If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, you may complain to the supervisory authority, which is the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. Anything significant will be noted here.
